Gladstone Newsletter - September - Regional Summits Announced

Welcome to this month's newsletter.

This month we hear from the University of Portsmouth on our app MobilePro, we continue with the eyeQ package offers and of course, the tip of the month.

Dates and venues for four of the five Regional Summits we have planned in October are now confirmed. Read on to find out where and when they are taking place and how to book. Don't forget they are open to all Gladstone customers and are free to attend.

Gladstone Newsletter - May 2016

Welcome to this month's newsletter.

The next Regional Summit takes place this week on the 12th May at Fairlop Waters in Essex. There are still a couple of spaces left so if you would like to attend please email marketing@gladstonemrm.com. So far our Regionals have been to Scotland, Oldham and Port Talbot and have seen in excess of 100 customers attending. A date and venue will soon be announced for our University Summit so please keep an eye on our website and your inbox for updates.

This month we exhibited at Elevate at London Olympia, the show was a great success and thanks to those customers who stopped by our stand to say hello. We will be attending SIBEC UK later this month and look forward to seeing some of you there.

The offer on RFID Starter Packs and Upgrades has been extended until the end of May and we have a new offer on ready to use eyeQ queries for Business Process Manager. Read on for more details and how to take advantage of these offers.

We have two webinars this month. The first is on the 12th May around how to configure membership subscriptions within Plus2 and then how to apply member promotions and discounts and the second on the 26th May is an introductory demonstration of Business Process Manager to automate business process and reports. This month's support tip covers Join@home and adding additional members.

Gladstone Newsletter - April 2016

Welcome to this month's newsletter.

This month we hear from activeNewham on their recent Kiosk installation. It's been a great success and has helped them drive efficiency and revenue. For the full story, see below.

The first round of our Regional Summits are nearly upon us. The first one on the 14th April, in Oldham, is now full and spaces for the remaining ones are filling up fast so please make sure you book soon to take advantage of these free sessions.

There are two events I would like to mention in this newsletter. In March Gladstone were proud to sponsor the Customer Service Award at the OCL (Oldham Community Leisure) staff awards on the 12th March. The event was attended by OCL Staff, Senior Managers and Board members of the trust. Also on the 4th and 5th May Gladstone will be exhibiting at Elevate at Olympia, see below for more information.

We have two offers for you in April. 30% off your current Plus2 licence and due to its success, the offer on RFID Starter Packs and Upgrades has been extended until the end of April. Read on for more details and how to take advantage of these offers.

We have two webinars this month. The first, on the 14th April, is a taster demonstration on Connect 5 and some of its features from a members perspective. Welcome to this month's newsletter.

We are now able to release the dates and venues for our first round of Regional Summits which are taking place during April and May in 4 locations around the UK. These are free events for all of our customers. The Regional Summits are a great chance to find out what's coming next from Gladstone, to meet some key members of our team and network with industry peers.

Gladstone are pleased to announce our collaboration with 4Global and the Datahub which is a hot topic of conversation in the industry at the moment, see below for more.

We have two webinars this month. An introductory session on eyeQ reporting and one on Plus2 bookings. See below for how to book your place and get involved with these free sessions. As always we have our support tip and this month it's about rolling subscriptions in Plus2.

This month we hear from Oldham Community Leisure on switching to Gladstone and how we worked closely with them to develop a tailor made access control system to help them reach their long term business objectives.

Gladstone Newsletter - January 2016

Welcome to the first newsletter for 2016.

This year will see the 35th anniversary of the founding of Gladstone and we have exciting plans to unveil throughout the year.

To start we have an announcement with regard to the management of the company. Arthur Morris, who has been our Managing Director for the past 4 years, has moved up within the Jonas Group to be a Business Unit Manager overseeing nine companies within the UK. The group includes TRP, CAP2 and Gladstone to name a few. Arthur will work closely with all the brands and will of course remain heavily involved with the Gladstone business.

To that end I must further announce that I have the honour of being promoted to Managing Director of Gladstone with immediate effect. I look forward to working with all our customers as we continue to develop and deliver market leading software that will help support and grow your business. We have exciting plans to release a new product this year which will be a game changer for the leisure industry and will be the dawn of a new era for Gladstone.  

In this month's newsletter we take a look at Hambleton DC and explore how they use Gladstone’s total management solution across all their leisure operations.

We have one product update for you this month around Learn2, see below for more information.

Our support tip this month looks at Join@home subscription discounts and we are running a great set of webinars this year. The schedule for the first half of the year is up on our website, take a look and get involved in these free sessions.

Welcome to the last newsletter of 2015.

In this final newsletter of the year we have an in-depth case study from Fylde Coast YMCA on Connect and Mobile Pro. Have a read to see the positive impact it has had on their business.

Welcome to the March edition of the Gladstone Newsletter – this month focused on the Sales team. The main focus of the Sales and Marketing team is to ensure we help customers get the most out of their software and work closely with them to deliver new products that make a real difference to their business. To provide full coverage we have regional based and head office staff to guarantee a great customer experience. Along with myself we have a focused regional team headed up by Antony Davies - Sales Manager who also covers the South West, with Ian McGregor - Regional Sales Manager for Scotland & Northern Ireland, Deborah Blythe - Regional Sales Manager for the Midlands & Northern England, Jonathan Taylor - Regional Sales Manager for London & South East and James Phillips - Internal Sales Executive managing all customer accounts. In addition the internal sales administration and marketing teams provide information and support to all customers. As a team we are responsible for delivering events and are busy preparing for next week’s Regional Summits taking place from Edinburgh to London with over 200 people attending. This month Nottingham City Council tell us how they and their customers have found the introduction of our iPhone booking app, it includes some great feedback from the end users. We also have news about one of our newest products, eyeQ, which you will be able to see in full when we launch it at LIW next month. In this month's edition of the Gladstone newsletter we have news about our soon to be released Join@Home product which we have been demoing at our recent user group meetings. Join@Home allows your non-members to simply sign up for a membership online without having to go into the leisure centre. We are continually changing and updating our products so you might find that you are now not on the latest version. We have compiled a list of our current software version, have a look and see how this compares to what version you are using. Our new support portal is now live, this gives you the ability to add, track and edit your support calls. It's another way to quickly add non critical issues to your case log. The solution also has the flexibility to show you all outstanding support calls or just view by site. Don't forget we run a constant programme of webinars, with one taking place roughly every fortnight, each focused on a different area of Plus2 or module. Have a look at the programme, and don't forget they are completely free! We have news about switching your IBACS solution to Albany ePAY following IBACS not being supported next year. Find out how simple and cost effective it is to switch. Finally, our support tip this month looks at the batch postings module which you can use to tidy up your database from old unwanted unpaid sales. In this months newsletter we have a great case study from Huntingdonshire District Council who have been seeing some fantastic sucesses with Connect for online bookings and also their self service kiosks. Over 1,000 customers use the kiosks for around 1,500 bookings every single month – and that’s just at one site, whilst since introducing Connect over 60% of class payments are now made online. We find out what they think of our new swim school management software, Learn2, which they have recently implemented. To promote the fact that our latest version of Connect is now available for you to play with online, there is a discount offer on Connect licences. We also review this year's user group meetings, 21 took place and these were attended by over 300 people. And finally, you don't need me to remind you that Christmas is fast approaching.
